Honest passport photos, target file sizes and real guides
- Passport photos now keep your real background by default. Each document shows whether its official guidance accepts edited photos, and the tool warns you if you replace the background for one that does not.
- The size check now says what it measures: head height and position, not whether an office will accept the photo.
- Compress Image has a Target size option: 20, 50, 100 or 200 KB, or any custom limit. It finds the best quality that fits, shrinks the photo only when it has to, and tells you plainly when a target cannot be reached.
- New pages for compressing to 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 KB, in all eight languages.
- Trend posts were retired in favour of practical guides: consistent product photos, CV photos and fixing photos that will not upload.
- Clearer claims across the site: the AI runs on your device, tools work offline once loaded, and any size limit is shown in the tool.
- New Product Photo Set (pilot): drop a batch of product photos and get one consistent set, with the same background, shape, margin and shadow for every item, a close-up review and a shop look you can save on your device.
- New About page, this changelog and a feedback address.
Seven more languages
- SleekCut is now available in Español, Português, Bahasa Indonesia, Türkçe, Русский, हिन्दी and नेपाली, including the editor itself, with local page addresses.
- Guides now show who wrote them.
Eight new tools
- Passport Photo Maker with 13 documents, head guides, a live size check and a 4 x 6 print sheet.
- AI Image Extender, Bulk Background Remover, Sticker Maker, Blur and Pixelate, Watermark Photos, Carousel Splitter and Circle Crop.
